The Sangliers Arvernes (official name: Clermont-Auvergne Hockey Club ) were a French ice hockey team from Clermont-Ferrand , which existed from 1972 to 2005.

history

The Clermont-Auvergne Hockey Club was founded in 1972. The club took part in the highest French ice hockey league for several seasons . The greatest success was winning the championship of the second division Division 1 in 1999. In the 2004/05 season , the team rose from last place in the Ligue Magnus. However, due to financial problems, the team went bankrupt. Hockey Clermont Communauté Auvergne was then founded as the successor team.
