Clifford Bricker

Clifford "Cliff" Bricker (born April 23, 1904 in St. George , Ontario , † September 20, 1980 in Waterloo , Ontario) was a Canadian long-distance runner .

In 1926 he became Canadian champion over five miles .

In 1927 he finished fourth in the Boston Marathon and won marathons in Buffalo and Hamilton in 2:40:05 h and 2:51:46 h, respectively.

At the marathon of the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 he finished tenth with his personal best of 2:39:24 h.

In 1932 he came third in the Canadian Marathon Championships and was Canadian champion over 10,000 m with the national record of 31: 42.0 min . At the Olympic Games in Los Angeles he was eighth in the 10,000 m and twelfth in the marathon .
