Cliff Crowley

Clifford Thomas "Cliff" Crowley (born June 13, 1906 in Winnipeg , Manitoba , † April 27, 1948 ibid) was a Canadian ice hockey player . At the Olympic Winter Games in 1932 , he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.

Career

Cliff Crowley won the Allan Cup , the Canadian amateur championship, in 1931 with the Winnipeg Hockey Club . At the 1932 Winter Games, he represented Canada with the Winnipeg Hockey Club. He died in 1948 at the age of 40. In 2004 he was inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame.

International

For Canada Crowley took part in the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , where he won the gold medal with his team.
