Grupo Recreativo da Caála , CR Caála for short , is a football club from Huambo .

The association was founded on July 24, 1944 under Portuguese colonial administration in the eponymous town of Caála . Today the club is based in nearby Huambo, where the home stadium of CR Caála is located, the 8,000-seat Estádio Mártires da Canhala (also Estádio Mártires da Kanhara). However, the club usually plays its games in the Estádio dos Kurikutelas , which was originally designed for 17,000 and holds 8,000 spectators , also in Huambo.

The CR Caála is one of the established clubs of the Girabola , the Angolan professional league. So far, the club has not won the league title or cup. Participation in the CAF Champions League 2011 should therefore be considered the club's greatest success , but where the club was eliminated in the first round.
