history

The company emerged in 1996 from the merger of the companies Clyde and Bergemann. Today's core company in Wesel began in 1948 as a sole proprietorship with the name Hans Bergemann Wärmetechnik . It was located at the still used location in Fusternberg an der Lippe. Between 1988 and 1996 two companies from the USA were taken over and their own subsidiaries were founded in Estonia, Russia and Hungary, so that the Bergemann Group was created. Clyde was a Scottish family company from Glasgow founded in 1924 , which also expanded in the 1990s and took over the Bergemann Group in 1996, so that Clyde Bergemann was created. Since then, numerous other subsidiaries have been founded on several continents. The group of companies is managed from the former starting point of the Bergemann company on the street Schillwiese in Wesel-Fusternberg.
