Codex Speculum

The Codex Speculum (or Speculum Ps Augustine ) is a New Testament manuscript from the 5th century. It contains the entire text except for the 3rd Epistle of John , the Epistle to the Hebrews and the Epistle of Philemon in the older translation of the Vetus Latina (Itala). It also contains parts of the letter to the Laodiceans .

The manuscript consists of 154 vellum leaves , which are described in Uncials and follow the Western text type in the Itala review.

The Codex Speculum was first published in 1843 by Cardinal Angelo Mai . Today he is in the Holy Cross Monastery of the Sessorians in Rome .
