Mount Mason is a 815 m high mountain on the Dufek coast of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises from the northeast end of the Lillie Range of the Queen Maud Mountains on the edge of the Ross Ice Shelf .
Participants in the Byrd Antarctic Expedition (1928–1930) discovered and photographed him in November 1929. It is named after Howard F. Mason (1901–1996), radio engineer on this research trip.
