Codex Veronensis (Gospels)

The Codex Veronensis (Sigla b or 4 after Beuron) is a Gospel manuscript from the 4th or 5th century in Latin . It contains the text of the four Gospels of the New Testament in the translation of the Vetus Latina . These are arranged in the western order (Matthew, John, Luke, Mark). The manuscript consists of 395 sheets of parchment in the format 222 × 282 cm and is written in uncials . Some text passages are missing ( Lacunae )

The manuscript is written on purple-dyed parchment with silver and gold ink. It is located in the Biblioteca Capitolare (cathedral library) in Verona , Siglum b.
