The Collegio Borromeo is a student boarding school in Pavia . It was founded in 1561 by Karl Borromeo (Italian: Carlo Borromeo) and is the oldest college in Italy that is still in use.

With the establishment of the college, Borromeo wanted to help poorer students in particular, who did not have sufficient funds to study in Pavia.

The Collegio Borromeo, like the other famous historical Collegio in Pavia, the Collegio Ghislieri , is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research as an institution of high cultural qualification.
