Colonia Delta is located in the territory of the Department of San José in its sector 5 . Settlements nearby are the most Río de la Plata Located Boca del Cufré west, La Boyada in the Northeast, Ecilda Paullier and Scavino in the north-northwest, as well as in the Cuchilla Pereira located Mevir Costas de Pereyra in the southeast.

history

Colonia Delta is a Mennonite colony . It was founded by Germans who immigrated during the Second World War .

The population of Colonia Delta is 41 (as of 2011), 16 of them male and 25 female. The Instituto Nacional de Estadística de Uruguay has not collected any data for the previous censuses in 1963, 1975, 1985, 1996 and 2004 .
