The Colosseum Cliff (English for Coliseum Cliff ) is a strikingly banded cliff in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Asgard Range , it looms between the Sykes Glacier and the Plane Table .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee gave the descriptive name based on a Roman coliseum .
