Columbine is the debut album by the Danish singer-songwriter Aura Dione . It was released on January 28, 2008 in Denmark under the Music for Dreams label and on November 27, 2009 in Germany under the Island Records label.

Background information

The first version of the album, released in Denmark, contained only 10 songs. On the later German release, two new songs, Stay the Same and Lulla Goodbye , were added. The German version also includes I Will Love You Monday (365) , which has been changed compared to the Danish original version. A version of the album later released in Denmark also included a second CD containing the two new songs and some remixes.

Singles

Their first single in Denmark was Something from Nothing , followed by Song for Sophie and I Will Love You Monday , which reached positions 7, 16 and 20 on the Danish charts, respectively.

Her first single outside Denmark was a modified version of her third single, I Will Love You Monday . Compared to the Danish version of the song, a new chorus and additional instruments have been added. I Will Love You Monday (365) reached number one in the charts in Germany and was awarded platinum. The second single was Song for Sophie (I Hope She Flies) , which reached number 12 in Germany, and Something from Nothing as a download, which reached number 90.
