Edin Pezerović (born December 14, 1973 in Munich ) is a Bosnian - German chess player .

His parents come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pezerović was born in Munich and grew up there. He still lives in Munich today. He learned the game of chess from his father. At FIDE he was initially registered for the Yugoslav Chess Federation, from 1993 for the Bosnian Chess Federation, in 2002 he switched to the German Chess Federation .

He played club chess in the German federal chess league for the Munich SC 1836 in the seasons 1988/89 , 1992/93 , 1993/94 , 1994/95 and 1995/96 (with IM norm), for Bayern Munich in the season 1991/92 and for TV Tegernsee in the 1999/2000 and 2000/01 seasons . With Bayern Munich he won the German team championship in 1991/92.

He was awarded the title of International Master in 2001.
