German Chess League 1994/95
The 1994/95 season was the 15th season of the German Chess League . The chess department of FC Bayern Munich became champions for the ninth time . After the season, the club withdrew from the Bundesliga chess league to the Oberliga Bayern after the FC Bayern Presidium had decided to limit itself to a single professional team, the soccer team. SV Tübingen 1870 , Werder Bremen , PSV Turm Duisburg and SV 1920 Hofheim were newly promoted . The SC Stadthagen withdrew after the first double round. Tübingen, Bremen and, thanks to the withdrawal of Bayern, also Duisburg, were able to stay in the league, Hofheim and SV Erfurt West were relegated .
