Federal Chess League 2003/04

The 2003/04 season was the 24th season of the German Chess League . The champions were SG Porz , which won the playoff for the title with 4½: 3½ against SC Baden-Oos . The defending champion Lübecker SV 1873 had already withdrawn from the Bundesliga before the season. The Bremer Schachgesellschaft von 1877 , the Sportfreunde Katernberg , the SCA St. Ingbert and the SV 1920 Hofheim were newly promoted . The Bremen Chess Society of 1877 withdrew after the season, as did the team from St. Ingbert and the SK König Plauen . This enabled SV 1920 Hofheim and the Stuttgart Chess Friends 1879 to remain in the league.
