German Chess League 1993/94

The 1993/94 season was the 14th season of the German Chess League . The SG Porz became champion for the third time . The team set the record of FC Bayern Munich , which won all 15 matches in the preseason , and even exceeded it by 2.5 board points. To date, no team has had a better season record. SV Castrop-Rauxel , SK Zähringen 1921 , SK Zehlendorf and SC 1868 Bamberg were newly promoted . Castrop-Rauxel and Zähringen were able to keep the class, in addition to Bamberg and Zehlendorf, SV 03/25 Koblenz and SF Dortmund-Brackel had to relegate.
