Comité International du Ski-Alpinisme de Compétition

The Comité International du Ski-Alpinisme de Compétition (CISAC) was the international committee for competitive ski mountaineering founded in 1991 .

The founding members included ski mountaineers from France , Italy , Spain , Andorra , Slovakia and Switzerland . In 1992, the CISAC held the first European Cup and the first European Championship in ski mountaineering .

In 1999 the CISAC became part of the International Council for Ski Mountaineering Competitions (ISMC) of the Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme (UIAA).
