Commonwealth Mountain is a mountain in the Nunavut Territory of Canada . It is located on Ellesmere Island , in the western part of the Quttinirpaaq National Park . With a height of 2225 meters, Commonwealth Mountain is the highest point of the Challenger Mountains , a mountain range belonging to the Arctic Cordillera .
