Comp Air
Comp Air Inc. is an American aircraft manufacturer that sells its aircraft as kits . The company headquarters was initially on Merritt Island in Florida (USA). The company was later renamed Comp Air Aviation and moved its headquarters a few kilometers further to Titusville .
The offered aircraft are very inexpensive compared to ready-to-fly assembled copies. The smallest model starts at around US $ 32,000 (2008 price list). Added to this are the costs for the engine and options. As there is no general FAA license, the aircraft must be registered individually. So far this has been the case for more than fifty copies.
