Lady Chapel of a former monastery | Münchweg 3 | The chapel is a simple hall building with five window axes and a 3/8 choir. The high entrance portal in the west gable is surmounted by a roof turret in which three bells hang. Mission cross | Münchweg 3 | A shaft with an inscription stands on a stepped base, on which a cross with a larger-than-life body is erected. The inscription reads:
“Salvation is in the cross! Erected for the glory of God by the married couple Adolph Münch and Helena geb. Offermann in 1862 " The cross served several times as a mission cross. On the vertical cross bar at the lower end: Mission 1913, underneath above the inscription from 1862 “Save your soul”. Below the original date: Mission: 1921 and 1928. |
