The list of architectural monuments in Bliesheim contains the listed buildings in the area of Erftstadt-Bliesheim in North Rhine-Westphalia (status: August 2010). These architectural monuments are entered in the list of monuments of the city of Erftstadt; The basis for the admission is the Monument Protection Act North Rhine-Westphalia (DSchG NRW).

Architectural monuments

The list of architectural monuments contains sacred buildings , residential and half-timbered houses, historical manors and aristocratic buildings, industrial plants, crossroads and other small monuments as well as tombs and graves that have a special meaning for the history of Erftstadt.

Square courtyard and wayside shrine

Square courtyard and wayside shrine Frankenstrasse 86 The former courtyard consists of a half-timbered house with a half-hipped roof and brick base as well as other buildings and a forge. The buildings were erected in 1799 according to the inscription above the gate passage DEN 4TEN IVNIVS ANNO 1799.

The wooden wayside shrine with a colored crucifix on the house wall was replaced by a copy, the original from around 1500 hangs in the vestibule of St. Lambertus Church after restoration.

Buschfeld House , Manor House Buschfeld Castle Merowingerstrasse 1 The baroque mansion, a two-story, red-framed brick building with a hipped roof, which is dated to the year 1711 by anchors, is located in a park a little off the road. A coat of arms stone with the alliance coat of arms Quadt / Hatzfeld is attached above the representative entrance on the long side. Buschfeld House Merowingerstrasse 1 A three-arched bridge leads to the large arched entrance of the former outer bailey, which is enclosed on three sides by a moat. The von Quadt coat of arms was placed as a keystone above the entrance to the gate. A two-storey residential building with a stepped gable from the 17th century adjoins the southeast corner. The inside of the house wall consists partly of red sandstone blocks. The outer bailey buildings, some parts of which are dated to the 16th century, enclose a large square courtyard. The inner moat has been filled, the island on which the old mansion stood has disappeared. When the building in the outer bailey was converted into a residential complex, the character of the old complex was retained. 16./17. Century 08/10/1982 016

Buschfeld House : Rest of the mill wheel Merowingerstrasse 1 House Buschfeld had limited grinding rights for its mill since 1553. After the mill was sold in 1875, it remained in operation until after the Second World War .

In the 1980s, the area, including the ruinous buildings that had not been restored after a fire, was sold and demolished. Part of the mill wheel was preserved.

Bliesheimer Mill Bliesheimer Mill Merowingerstrasse 115 The two-storey house, a half-timbered building with a hipped roof, was built in the 18th century. The entrances are on both sides of the eaves. There are two windows on each side of the entrance, the upper floor has three windows. Inside, the room layout and Cologne ceilings have largely been preserved. In the extension of the house is the mill house with a device for opening the sacks.

During the restoration between 1989 and 1993, the plaster covering the framework was removed, most of the foundation was renewed and the roof was covered with pantiles. The compartments were again filled with clay frameworks, doors, windows and floors were renewed and the Cologne ceilings were restored.

Lambertus house Lambertus house Frankenstrasse / In the cave The approximately 4 m high wayside shrine made of yellow bricks was built in 1892 and designed with brick in the base, in the figure niche and in the roof. In the pointed arched figural niche there is an approximately 1.50 m high figure of St. Lambertus with a bishop's staff in his left hand, the right hand raised in a blessing. The wrought iron grating in front of the wayside shrine comes from the time it was built. 1892 02/06/1987 101
Wayside cross Wayside cross Frankenstrasse / Am Kreuz In a fence with original posts and original wrought iron bars stands an approximately 2.50 m high cross. Above a base and a stepped shaft with a roof there are stylized towers on which a cross with a body stands. The inscription on the shaft is designed as a chronogram and gives the year 1896.

It reads: sIt IesV ChrIstI CrVX In CaeLVM nobIs DVX (be the cross of Jesus Christ our guide to heaven). Chronogram resolution: once M = 1000, once D = 500, three times C = 300, once L = 50, twice X = 20, four times V = 20 and six times I = 6

Former Fronhof, main building Frankenstrasse 11 The two-storey white plastered house with a half-hipped roof was built in 1783 by the Mariengraden Abbey in Cologne as a half-timbered building. A bar of inscription over the entrance door, which is now covered, contains a chronogram with this year: ECCLESIA MARIA GRADVANA EXSTRVXIT

The courtyard consists of buildings from different construction periods. Remnants of the former moat have been preserved near the house.

Marian column Marian column Lambertusstrasse 44 On a stepped pedestal stands the approximately 5 m high column made of red sandstone , the capital of which is crowned with a figure of Maria Immaculata . According to the inscription, the column, a work by the Bonn sculptor Johann Josef Holzem, was donated by the Wynand couple in 1867.

The inscription reads: Please receive salvation Mary without sin for us! Erected by the married couple Edmund Wynand Agnes Wynand geb. Rüb

2-storey brick house 2-storey brick house Frankenstrasse 30 A staircase wing is attached to the side of the two-story, almost square brick building. The street side is emphasized on the upper floor by a stepped gable. The lower and upper floors are highlighted with light-colored bricks. The windows in the side wing are framed with light-colored bricks on the upper floor. A stained glass window depicting the Good Shepherd has been preserved in the side wing. The original door leaf is still present in the entrance door. Above the entrance there is a figure of St. George in a pointed arch niche on the upper floor. 1898 06/12/1991 153

Wayside cross Wayside cross Karolingerstrasse A covered attachment with a sacrament niche is erected on a high rectangular shaft, and a cross with a body is on the roof. A brick wing with a large, arched passage connects to the gable end on the corner of Frankenstrasse and Büchelgasse. The sloping corner of the building with the shop entrance emphasizes street sales. On the ground floor there are basket-arched shop windows and another entrance in Frankenstrasse, and on the upper floor there are basket-arched windows, all with plastered walls. Old Kallenhof / desolation Old Kallenhof / desolation Kallenhofstrasse 6 The former Kallenhof was a complex surrounded by moats. The area was placed under protection as a ground monument.

Instead of the former house, a new brick dwelling was built in 1869, which today belongs to the Ville Forestry Office.

New Kallenhof New Kallenhof Kallenhofstrasse 1 / Weiherstrasse The two-storey half-timbered house, the gable of which has been renewed in brick, was built in 1819 by the married couple Johann Geicht and Clara Hommelsheim, as evidenced by the inscription bar on the baptismal side of the building.

By resolution of the local council, the name Kallenhof was transferred to the property at Kallenhofstrasse 1 in the 1930s.
