St. Lambertus (Bliesheim)
The Catholic parish church St. Lambertus is a listed church building in Bliesheim , a district of Erftstadt in the Rhein-Erft district .
History and architecture
The previous church stood in the cemetery on the outskirts, it was demolished.
The brick basilica stands in the center of the village; it was built from 1860/61 in the neo-Romanesque style according to plans by Robert Cremer and consecrated in January 1863.

From the old church
- Two late Gothic chandelier angels from the end of the 15th century. The old version has been preserved, the wings have been renewed
- A Vesper picture from around 1520 comes from the workshop of the master Tilman
- A life-size standing figure of Our Lady and a St. Anna herself from the beginning of the 16th century. It was created in the workshop of the master of the von Carben Memorial Foundation
- The figures of St. Lambertus and St. Rochus are from the 18th century
