The list of architectural monuments in Herrig contains the listed buildings in the area of Erftstadt-Herrig in North Rhine-Westphalia (status: August 2010). These architectural monuments are entered in the list of monuments of the city of Erftstadt; The basis for the admission is the Monument Protection Act North Rhine-Westphalia (DSchG NRW).

Architectural monuments

The list of architectural monuments contains sacred buildings , residential and half-timbered houses, historic manors and aristocratic buildings, industrial plants, crossroads and other small monuments as well as tombs and graves that have a special meaning for the history of Erftstadt.

Wayside shrine Wayside shrine At the Marienkreuz The four sides of the wayside shrine, where the brick corner pillars delimit the white plastered inner surfaces, are designed in the same way. Former mansion Former mansion Fliederweg 1 The access to the residential building on Fliederweg is closed by a wrought iron gate set into a brick wall. The house was built in the neo-baroque style around 1910. The mansard roof is covered as the dormer windows with slate. A cornice separating floors runs between the first and second floors. All windows are fitted with shutters. The house entrance is on the garden side under a roofed porch supported by columns, also covered with slate. 1910 11/26/1991 168
Domhof courtyard Domhof courtyard St.-Clemens-Strasse 1 The buildings of the courtyard were built in different construction periods. The house consists of an older two-storey brick building with an integrated arched doorway. Above the gateway there is a coat of arms stone with the cross of the Cologne Cathedral monastery. A bell gable was erected above it. The construction of this building in 1769 is dated by anchor numbers. This older house is adjoined by a two-storey residential building with a crooked hip roof from 1900. On the street side, the building is flanked by two residential corner towers covered with slate. The tower adjoining the old house has an eight-sided hood, the tower on the other side has a four-sided hood. The large, upright rectangular windows have stone frames. The offset base, in which the basement windows are exposed, is plastered.

The large brick farm buildings, a barn from 1864, the rest of the buildings mostly around 1900, complement the house to the square courtyard.

2-storey brick house 2-storey brick house St-Clemens-Strasse 11 The eaves side of the two-story brick residential building faces the inner courtyard. The entrance is on the courtyard side in the middle of the five-axis residential building, the facade of which is divided by a cornice separating storeys and a stepped eaves zone.

A building with a hipped roof on the street adjoins the gable end of the house. Large brick farm buildings complement the square courtyard.

2 buildings 2 buildings Rektor-Meller-Strasse 5 The buildings of the Vierkanthof consist of different construction periods. To the street, bordered by a small front garden, there are two houses built next to one another. One of them, a former half-timbered house, is plastered. Parish Church of St. Clement St-Clemens-Strasse 5 The white plastered church with a western tower, which is flanked by two pent roof-roofed extensions, was built after 1952 in place of the church from 1893, which was badly damaged in the Second World War. The remaining remains of the previous church, the side walls of the central nave, were integrated into the new building.

The single-nave nave with a sacristy extension has an entrance in the tower.

Churchyard / high sandstone cross / grave crosses Churchyard / high sandstone cross / grave crosses St-Clemens-Strasse at 5 The sandstone high cross from the 18th century consists of a base, a stepped shaft with a sacrament console and a cross with a body.

In the churchyard there are still 13 grave crosses, some of them badly weathered, from the period 1663 to 1705.
