Computer Kids (English original title Whiz Kids ) is an American children's series that was first broadcast in 1983. It was broadcast in several countries; the German first broadcast took place in 1989 on RTL plus .
content
The series is about four teenagers from a suburb of Los Angeles who solve various criminal cases. The group's spokesman is Richie Adler ( Matthew Laborteaux ), who is the only one who is a computer freak and who has a talking computer called RALF . They are supported by reporter Llewellen Farley and Lieutenant Neal Quinn, among others.
German charisma
It was broadcast from January to April 1989 on RTL plus . The series was moderated and there was an IBM-compatible PC at the station to be won. It was broadcast repeatedly and last until March 1990.
Radio play series
In 1989 a six-part radio play series was released on cassettes on the label Europa with speakers such as Christian Stark , Björn Gebauer and Rainer Schmitt . Further titles were initially planned, but have not appeared.

- The title music is an instrumental piece (Mozart, Piano Concerto No. 21 KV 467 ) with sounds similar to computer music .
- There was a cameo of Jameson Parker as AJ Simon , one of the two title characters from Simon & Simon . In return, the Computer Kids appeared in an episode of Simon & Simon.
