Jameson Parker

Francis Jameson Parker Jr. (born November 18, 1947 in Baltimore ) is an American actor who was best known for the 1980s series Simon & Simon .

Career

Parker studied theater in Beloit , Wisconsin . In 1972 he moved to New York City , where he made money doing commercials and off-Broadway productions. He made his film debut in 1979 in the film adaptation of the novel The Bell Glass . He played in other cinema and television films and had several guest roles in series.

Parker has two sons and two daughters from two previous marriages. Since 1992 he has been married to actress Loeren Carr .

Trivia

As the son of a diplomat, Parker also spent some time in Bad Godesberg, Germany . On October 1, 1992, Parker was shot by a neighbor during an argument. As a result, he struggled with depression for a long time.
