ConSozial science award

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The ConSozial Science Prize for outstanding scientific work in the social market is donated by Dr. Loew Social Services GmbH & Co. KG, Wernberg-Köblitz / Upper Palatinate.

The prize is awarded annually at ConSozial - Germany's largest social fair in Nuremberg - by the Bavarian State Ministry for Labor and Social Order, Family and Women .

Scientific knowledge should set impulses that can point the way for the provision of social services. The prize is awarded for a social science work in the field of social economy and social management that has the potential to significantly influence the practice of social work. Particular emphasis is placed on concrete suggestions and methods, as well as originality and practicality for implementation and their economic benefits in everyday life.

The ConSozial Science Prize is endowed with 4,000 euros (as of 2010) and is sponsored by the company Dr. Loew social services donated. The winners are determined by an independent jury. In addition, the ConSozial Management Prize (endowed with 10,000 euros, donated by Ernst & Young ) will be awarded. Since 2010 both prizes have been awarded alternately.
