Conchita Puig-Barrata-Tissot (born January 18, 1953 in Aiguafreda ) is a former Spanish ski racer.
Career
Her active sporting time was in the first half of the 1970s, when Spanish alpine racing made contact with the world's best. Like her teammate and Olympic champion Francisco Fernández Ochoa , Puig mainly competed in the disciplines of slalom and giant slalom as well as in the combination .
She took part in the World Championships in 1970 and 1974. At the 1970 World Cup in Val Gardena, she achieved her best placement with 9th place in the combination. Four years later at the World Championships in St. Moritz, she also achieved 9th place in the slalom.
In 1972 she was the youngest member of the three-man Spanish team at the Olympic Winter Games in Sapporo at the age of 19 . In mid-April 1972 she won a giant slalom at the Tonale Pass ( Trento region ). In the post-Olympic season she reached on February 2, 1973 in the slalom in Schruns, Austria, the only place on the podium in the World Cup .
