The Cone Hill ( English for cone hill ) is a hill 3 km northeast of Castle Rock on the Hut Point Peninsula in the southwest of the Antarctic Ross Island .
The descriptive name was given during the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott .
