Conet ( spelling CONET ) is a German IT service provider whose focus is on IT consulting , software development and information and communication technology in the areas of SAP, infrastructure, communication, software and consulting. The group, with CONET Technologies Holding GmbH as the parent company, achieved sales of around 129 million euros in the 2019 financial year with around 800 employees at twelve locations in Germany and Austria. According to the system house survey and the associated ranking by the specialist media Computerwoche and the industry analyst Lünendonk, Conet is one of the 25 largest medium-sized IT houses and the 25 best medium-sized IT system houses in Germany.
history
The origins of Conet go back to the founding of CoNet Computer & Netzwerk GmbH in 1987 in Euskirchen. In 1991 the company moved its headquarters to Hennef and in 1992 it generated more than 10 million D-Marks for the first time . In 1996, Conet moved to its current headquarters and, after setting up offices in Neubrandenburg , Berlin and Augsburg, achieved more than 30 million euros in 2004 . With the formation of CONET Technologies AG, Conet received a group structure under a central holding company, which was listed in the Entry Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange from 2007 to 2015 . In 2016, the group of companies, which now has eight locations, exceeded the sales mark of 100 million euros for the first time. Since 2018, the Niederkasseler ACT (now also trading as Conet), since 2019 the Düsseldorfer Babiel and since 2020 the Munich Procon IT have been members of the Conet group of companies.

CONET Technologies Holding GmbH is the holding company of the Conet group of companies and coordinates the central tasks in the areas of personnel, customer acquisition, communication, procurement and finance. Conet currently provides its IT-related consulting, development and service activities in the subsidiaries CONET Business Consultants GmbH, CONET Communications GmbH, CONET Development & Integration GmbH, CONET Services GmbH, CONET Solutions GmbH as well as Babiel GmbH and Procon IT GmbH .
