The Congress Park Hanau (CPH) was built in 2003 as a congress and event center.

history

The former Marstall , a cultural monument according to the Hessian Monument Protection Act, was incorporated into the Hanau Congress Park . A redesign took place in which a modern accompanying building was integrated. An extended stage building was added to the eastern narrow side. As a result, all historical facades from the 18th century are now supplemented or blocked with modern building parts. On the south side of the Marstall, behind the modern glass facade, you can see the historical portal made of reddish sandstone, on the pilasters of which riding utensils are depicted, above the gate the Hanau-Lichtenberg coat of arms .

use

The CPH has several rooms, such as the Brothers Grimm Hall, the Paul Híndemith Hall, the Landgrave Alexander Friedrich von Hessen hall, conference rooms and numerous foyers. The CPH is used for a wide variety of events, from symphony concerts, musicals, plays, operas to conferences, trade fairs and congresses and art exhibitions. At the moment (2015) the Hanau city council is meeting there because the Neustadt town hall has to be renovated .
