Conochilus hippocrepis is a species of the genus Conochilus from the tribe of the rotifers (Rotatoria).
description
The animals grow to a length of 500 to 800 µm , with the foot making up about three-fifths of their total length. They form free-swimming, spherical colonies with a diameter of 1000 to 1600 µm and 60 to 100 individuals. Your wheel organ is horseshoe-shaped, inside there is a muzzle. On this there are two abdominal buttons in front of the raised mouth.
