Conrad Boye

Conrad John Boye (born November 17, 1907 in Ohio , † November 24, 1993 in San Luis Obispo , California ) was an American film technician who was awarded an Oscar for technical merit at the 1959 Academy Awards .

Life

Conrad Boye, one of Warner Bros. cinematographic pioneers , received a Technical Achievement Award at the 1959 Academy Awards along with George Brown and Fred Ponedel , who also worked in the Warner Bros. Studios' special effects department, with a Technical Achievement Award “for construction and Manufacture of a new rapid-fire ball pistol ”(“ For the design and fabrication of a new rapid-fire marble gun ”).
