Conrad Curd Cappi , also Konrad Cappi or Curt Cappi , born in Conrad Lehmann (born January 8, 1878 in Weimar , † after 1944 ) was a German - Austrian actor .

Life

Conrad Curd Cappi, who grew up in Austria and has been an Austrian citizen since 1896, studied for four semesters at the Technical University. In 1908 he joined the theater, from October 1912 he was based in Berlin. In 1919 he joined German film as Curd Cappi.

Cappi worked on stage and in front of the camera as a classic small actor. Especially in the early 1920s and then again in the third. He was rich in several movies, most recently with appearances of a few seconds. He embodied an organ grinder as well as an artistic director, a theater porter as well as an office worker.

From 1940 to 1943 he is said to have served in the Wehrmacht, despite demonstrably intense film activity and advanced age. His last sign of life comes from Linz, where he lived in 1944. After that his track is lost.
