The Conselho Municipal de Preservação do Patrimônio Histórico, Cultural e Ambiental da Cidade de São Paulo ( CONPRESP , “Council for the Conservation of the Historical, Cultural and Ecological Heritage of the City of São Paulo”) is a Brazilian organization for the protection of cultural property . CONPRESP was established on September 27, 1985 by Act No. 10032 as a collegial cultural advisory body. It is subordinate to the city's cultural secretariat and proposes the protection of objects according to cultural, historical, artistic, architectural and urban planning aspects. The committee also suggests measures to preserve them. Its headquarters are on Rua Líbero Badaró in the center of São Paulo .
