Constantin Dupien

Constantin Dupien (born November 8, 1987 in Leipzig ) is a German author and publisher .

Life

Constantin Dupien has been publishing short stories since 2013. His stories are mostly about human abysses, macabre experiences or mysterious incidents, but cannot always be assigned to the genre of the fantastic .

Dupien's repertoire ranges from Edgar Allan Poe- inspired horror stories and classic horror through love stories and poems to science fiction and crime fiction. He often uses an old-fashioned and clumsy language. As editor he is responsible for the anthology series of defective copies . For the volumes Defective copies: Dystopia , Defective copies: Haunted and Defective copies: Heimgesucht , Dupien was awarded the Vincent Prize in 2014, 2015 and 2016 .

In 2015 he published the horror novel Ruf der Dunkelheit together with the German horror and thriller author Vincent Voss .
