Constantin Marinescu (born February 12, 1923 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian football player . He denied 150 games in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A .

Career

Constantin Marinescu's career began in 1940 when he joined the first team of Unirea Tricolor Bucharest and played his first game in the Romanian top soccer league, Divizia A , on March 2, 1941 . At the end of the season he only made six appearances, but still played his part in winning the championship . Due to the Second World War , after the Divizia A was discontinued, he initially did not have any further assignments.

After the war ended, Marinescu joined local rivals Carmen Bucharest . There he succeeded in 1946 first qualifying for Divizia A and in the first season after resumption of play the runner-up . After the forced dissolution of the club by the Romanian government in the summer of 1947, he moved to league competitor Jiul Petroșani .

At the beginning of 1950, Marinescu was given the opportunity to move to Dinamo Bucharest . In the capital he was able to finish the league again as runner- up in 1951 and 1952 . After two more positions in Divizia A - at Metalul Hunedoara and Progresul Bucharest - he ended his active career in 1956.

National team

Marinescu came to eleven missions in the Romanian national team between 1947 and 1949 without being able to score a goal. He had his debut on June 22, 1947 against Yugoslavia .
