Constanze Dennig
Constanze Gabriela Luise Dennig-Staub (* 1954 in Linz ) is an Austrian neurologist in Graz and Vienna, author, director, producer of numerous theater projects, theater director of the Theater am Lend , member of the Graz Authors' Assembly and the IG Authors, Authors Austria.
Life
Dennig studied medicine at the University of Vienna and trained as a specialist in psychiatry and neurology at the Wagner-Jauregg Hospital in Linz . In 1983 Dennig moved to Graz, where she opened a specialist practice with an attached therapy center.
At the end of 2007, the Theater am Lend in Graz was created together with Edith Zeier-Draxl . Parallel to her work as a doctor - she sees her work as a psychiatrist and the content of her work as a writer and theater artist - she has created works with a focus on socially critical satire, novels and short stories. She directs her theater productions and builds snap-mouth dolls.
Since 2016 holder of the Golden Decoration of Honor of the State of Styria .
