Constanze Paulinus (born July 9, 1985 in Berlin ) is a British - German figure skater .

biography

Constanze "Connie" Paulinus started figure skating at the age of five. In 1993 she emigrated to England with her mother and sister , where they still live today. At the age of 14, she moved from home and went to Scotland for better training opportunities. In 2001 she was British junior single skating champion for the Dundee Ice Arena Figure Club , a year earlier she was junior runner-up in pair skating (with Neal Bone ). After her return to Germany in 2002, Constanze Paulinus joined the ESC Erfurt , where she was looked after by Ilona Schindler . At German championships she reached third place twice. Since 2007 she has been working for the Berlin TSC under coach Karin Hendschke-Raddatz .
