The Cooper Bluffs are towering and icy cliffs on the Pennell Coast of East Antarctica Victoria Land . They rise up in the Anare Mountains on the east side of the Sikow Glacier near the point where it flows into the Somow Sea .
Participants in the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions named it after Garry C. Cooper of the Royal Australian Air Force , who was involved in exploring the area on board the Thala Dan in 1962 .
