Copicut Woods is a 516 acre (2.1 km² ) nature reserve near the city of Fall River in the state of Massachusetts in the United States and is administered by The Trustees of Reservations .
Protected area
Copicut Woods forms the southernmost portion of the 13,600 acres (55 km²) Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve and gives visitors access to a complete regional ecosystem with a wide variety of animals and plants.
More than 5 mi (8 km ) of walking trails traverse the area, including more than 1 km on the 150-year-old stone-walled and tree-lined Miller Lane carriage path . The Meadowhawk Trail and Soggy Bottom Trail also run through the reserve. The flat terrain offers ideal conditions for cross-country skiing in winter .
