Copperstain Ridge is a 5 km long ridge in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Bowers Mountains it extends north-northeast of Mount Freed .
Participants of a campaign carried out from 1967 to 1968 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it after the copper veins ( English copperstain ) that they found in the rock.
