Cor de Feijter
Cornelis Jan de Feijter (born October 5, 1907 in Groede , † November 6, 1988 in Deventer ) was a Dutch chess composer . He was mostly called Cor de Feijter .
De Feijter began chess composition in 1930, specializing in studies with sub-metamorphoses . He was inspired by an article by August Haga on this topic in November / December 1929 in the Tijdschrift van de KNSB . From 1936 to 1964 he was the clerk for the study column in this journal.
During the Second World War , de Feijter was a prisoner of war in Germany from 1943 to 1945. He worked for a chemist or pharmacy for 28 years before working in ink production for 15 years .
