Corneil & Bernie is a French animated series that was produced between 2003 and 2004 .

action

Corneil is an intelligent, talking dog. He knows that there is nothing better for him than being a pampered pet and so he does everything to keep his intelligence and language skills a secret. This plan threatens to fail when the "dog sitter" Bernie learns Corneil's secret. As a result, the two become friends and Corneil continues to try to keep his secret from others. They experience many adventures together, with Corneil mostly using his intelligence to help Bernie out of difficult situations.

Production and publication

The series was produced in France between 2003 and 2004 by Millimages and directed by Albert Pereira Lazaro.

The German premiere took place on November 5, 2003 to KI.KA instead. Other broadcasts in German-speaking countries also took place on Das Erste , SWR TV , Hr-fernsehen and TV5 Monde .
