Cornelia Franz

Cornelia Franz (* 1956 in Hamburg ) is a German author .

biography

Franz completed a degree in German and American studies as well as an apprenticeship as a publishing bookseller. After working as a publishing editor for travel guides and art books, she has been an author since 1993.

Since then, Franz has primarily published books for children and young people , but also travel guides and novels for an adult reading audience. In 2019 she received the Hamburg Literature Prize in the children's and youth book category.

Cornelia Franz is part of the Lia Norden authors' collective (together with Sylvia Heinlein , Katja Reider and formerly Hilke Rosenboom ).
