Cornelius Keller

Cornelius Keller (born August 16, 1931 in Donaueschingen ; † May 23, 1994 in Karlsruhe ) was a German chemist who dealt with nuclear chemistry (radiochemistry) and metallurgy of radioactive elements, solid-state chemistry and complex chemistry.

Keller studied chemistry at the Technical University of Karlsruhe with a doctorate in inorganic chemistry in 1957. From 1959 he was at the Karlsruhe nuclear research center . After his habilitation in 1964, he became professor of radiochemistry in Karlsruhe in 1970. In 1975 he became head of the School for Nuclear Technology at the Karlsruhe Nuclear Research Center and Director of the Nuclear Research Center.

He wrote a textbook on nuclear chemistry that was also translated into Japanese.
