CorpseFlesh is an Australian brutal death metal and deathgrind band from Mandurah , founded in 2005.
history
The band was founded in 2005 by guitarist, bassist and singer Ewan Lambert and drummer Paul Wachla, who are both members of the band Facegrinder . In early 2012, a self-titled EP was released via Torn Flesh Records , which was later re-released as a split release with Facegrinder later that year . Shortly after the EP was released, the group signed a recording deal with Ungodly Ruins Productions . In the same year, the guitarist and bassist Sambo Marwick joined, which enabled the band to perform live. In addition, Dayle Edmonson has been the group's live singer since this year. In February 2013 the debut album Tattooed by a Blow Torch was released via Ungodly Ruins Productions . The EP Grotesque Inbreds was released in 2014 , before Paul Wachla left the group the following year. Lambert and Marwick then began work on a second album together with a studio drummer.

Brian Giffin assigned the band to the Deathgrind in his Encyclopedia of Australian Heavy Metal . Metalgallows.com's Satan Spawn described the group in his review of Tattooed by a Blowtorch as a brutal death metal band, with the album being heavily influenced by Gore . Bands of the genre would often use Pig Squealing as their vocals , which meant that the lyrics could no longer be understood. CorspeFlesh, on the other hand, uses growls . Especially when playing the electric guitar, the group also has a grindcore influence .
