Costa Khaiseb (born November 23, 1980 in Windhoek , South West Africa ) is a Namibian soccer player.

Career

Khaiseb was with Ramblers Windhoek from July 2002 to June 2003 before moving to Civics FC . In February 2006 he moved to South Africa and tried his luck with the Black Leopards, where he scored a goal in 4 missions. After six months in South Africa, he returned to Namibia and signed another contract with his first professional club, the Ramblers Windhoek, who then loaned him to the South African second division FC AK Roodeport for the 2007/2008 season . After returning to Ramblers Windhoek in June 2008, he became a top performer and tried his luck with Angolan first division club AS Aviacao in spring 2010 . After half a year in the Angolan capital Luanda , he returned to Namibia in summer 2010 and has been under contract with the first division club Civics FC ever since.

International

Khaiseb played for the Namibian national soccer team between 2003 and 2008 . On September 11, 2008, Khaiseb appeared drunk after an international defeat at the airport and insulted the then national coach Clifton Sandvliet , which meant the end of his national team career for him.
