The Cotton Plateau is a snowy plateau in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Elizabeth Range , it is located immediately east of the mouth of the Marsh Glacier in the Nimrod Glacier .

The northern group of a campaign lasting from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition made the name. It is named after the New Zealand geologist Charles Cotton (1885–1970).
