An-Nāziʿāt , Arabic النازعات an-Nāziʿāt  'They snatch'; 'They go out' is the 79th sura of the Koran , it contains 46 verses . The sura is one of the early parts of the Qur'an that wasrevealedin Mecca (610–615). Their title refers to the first verse.

The first five verses of the sura consist of a series of oaths, the subject of which remains unnamed: "For those who snatch with force and those who pull out with ease ..." There are different interpretations of this: either the angels, who snatch the souls of people, the stars that move their orbits, the souls of people who suffer a difficult hour of death, the horses of the warriors who pull the reins powerfully, or the warriors themselves.

Thematically, this sura is divided into three parts, with both the beginning (verses 1–14) and the final part (verses 27–46) dealing with the resurrection of the dead and the last judgment . The opening part mentions two earthquakes as an announcement of the resurrection, while the final part warns urgently of God's retribution . The middle section (verses 15-26) tells a brief version of the story of Moses and his encounter with Pharaoh .
