al-Mulk

Al-Mulk ( Arabic الملك al-Mulk  'The Reign of Kings') is the 67th sura of the Koran , it contains 30 verses . The sura belongs to the second Meccan period (615–620), its title refers to the first verse. It praises God as the owner of the kingdom, as the creator of death and life, heaven, hell and earth, as the origin of livelihood, the Resurrection and judgment. The final verse: “What do you think if your water should run dry, who could bring you sparkling water?” Refers to the Zamzam wellin Mecca.
